Coffee fungus 3D rotation animation

  • 56

This animation is a screen recording from ImageJ.

I imported the Z-stack of the coffee fungus into ImageJ. I am at the early stages of discovering what ImageJ can do, so I am not too concerned about the flatness off the volume being rotated: it looks more like a lid than a box at the moment. That is due to the width of a pixel and the height of a slice not being defined anywhere yet. Nor am I concerned about the green colour. Perhaps you are familiar with the phrase “Basic research is what I am doing when I don’t know what I am doing!” I clicked “Green” somewhere while doing my basic research into ImageJ capabilities.
